Workflow (or workflow on pure Swedish) is our feature of Apricon C3 to support and simplify the process to review and approve documents in a construction project.
Basically it is a very flexible tool that we can use to navigate documents by a predetermined route and let the system to control which properties any time of documents. It’s got its practical use right for review of drawings and descriptions, but it is possible to imagine other uses as well. We often say that if you can draw up your review process so we can make a workflow that fits!
Some advantages of using Workflow in Apricon:
- You must consider how you want your review of documents to work and get a tool that supports this!
- The documents will take automatically by the review process the project decided
- The system sets the right properties on the plot of the various stages of the process, such as status changes and read permissions on the various stages
- Support for projektörerna that does not need to keep track the status or read group that applies in the different steps
- The review process should be documented in the logs, when and to whom such as submitted for review, or approved a document
- A clear overview of where in the process the various documents is urbanising agent
- You can control so that the construction documents are not displayed for entrepreneurs until the approved or released
